I bought a used walker at a thrift store in my area, and fixed it up with these wheels in the front and the ski/gliders in the back. It is much easier for a disabled/weakened person to push their walker than to constantly pick it up and put it back down again. My sister loves it-it offers her enough stability for walking, but also helps to conserve her strength because she does not have to pick up and put down her walker constantly. Also the ski/gliders give it enough drag that it doesn't roll out from under her. I would highly recommend the use of these wheels for any one using the old-fashioned walkers with just the little stoppers on them.

I put these on my 25 kg, 5.5 m wingspan liquid hydrogen fueled unmanned aerial vehicle. Not just for grannies anymore, this airplane has a top speed in excess of 50 mph. The wheels roll great down the runway and are far rounder than the previous pneumatic tires we had installed. Glass reinforced nylon hubs with a hard rubbery tread rated to 350 lbf. They weigh around 50 g less than the old ones too. Google "Genii UAS" to see video of these babies in action! (This review is 100% true)

I would buy these at local store before buying them here as hard time returning these items. The member we purchased from wanted us to pay return shipping and restocking fees that cost more than the items. They were to long for my mother-in-law's walker, so I did cut these down to make them work. But future items like this will be purchased at local store so returns if needed, will not cost higher than value of purchase.
