Classical guitar is wonderful, but to here this instrument played by Manuel Barrueco elevates you in such a way that is indescribable. What a talent this man has which he displays admirably on this CD. While both concertos in C & D Major by Antonio Vivaldi are easily recognized, it is Barrueco's guitar skill in Roberto Sierra's Concierto Barroco that is demonstrated to the max & I love. A wonderful CD which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who loves classical accoustic guitar.

This is very beautiful music, especially Arvo Part's Fratres which first drew me to this recording. Wonderfully and sensitively played by a modern virtuoso.
