The HFW8 is designed to fill a medium- to large-sized room with crisp sound -- perfect for adding speakers to a bedroom, kitchen, den, or family room. Installation is a breeze with the patented Flex-bar system and it can be painted to match your home's decor. The cut-out size for this in-wall speaker system is 8.625 x 16.0625-inches and the speaker is less than three inches deep -- the perfect fit for almost any wall.

The high-efficiency design allows the HWF8 to operate on as little as 10 watts of power, but it isn't sheepish -- this speaker can handle the heft of a wide range of home theater and stereo receivers (up to 125 watts). The speaker delivers high tones through the one-inch tweeter that features a cloth dome with a Ferrofluid cooled voice coil. The eight-inch subwoofer features a black polypropylene cone with a rubber surround seal that delivers deep, bumpin' bass tones. This system includes a pair of speakers and is easy to install with only a few tools.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. They are an adequate entry level wall speaker.

Sounds is good not great. To the average listner, they won't have a problem.
