It features Klipsch's version of 2.5-way crossover technology, called tapered-array. With tapered-array, the two Cerametallic woofers work together to deliver high impact bass with one driver transitioning out at the mid-range frequencies. This provides more consistent coverage across the listening field, less tonal error and improved dialogue intelligibility.

The RS-10 surround speaker delivers precise sonic detail through the careful positioning of two Tractrix horns loaded titanium-dome tweeters and one 4-inch woofer. By aligning the two horns at 90 degrees with respect to each other, along with the front-firing woofer, the RS-10 smoothly covers a 180-degree horizontal arc, allowing maximum placement flexibility.

The compact RW-8 powered subwoofer delivers strong, clean bass from a decidedly small-footprint enclosure. And because both the driver and the port are at the front of the cabinet, the RW-8 can be placed back against a wall, deep into a corner, or even in custom cabinetry.
