4.0 out of 5 stars No major problems, April 6, 2008

I think this is a good product to convert your house or apartment to wireless. I had this for about a year and recently replaced it for a router that has better distance. I have a pretty big house and I used it in the basement and I had trouble staying on the internet on one of my desktop computers but my labtops had no problems while roaming the house. I recommend it but if you have a big house, I would recommend the newer ones with better distance. By the way, I have 3 stories which includes the basement and roughly 2800 square feet if that helps you. My desktop is located on the third floor

3.0 out of 5 stars Mostly good, October 26, 2008
For the most part this has worked flawlessly. But sometimes it seems to get to a state where the wireless will just stop working (computers connect connect to the network) until the unit is power cycled. I haven't tracked down the root cause here, but it might be heat; I found it got very hot and in the summer this seemed more prevalent -- it would happen multiple times a day.

I plan to replace my unit with a Linksys WRT54G in the future.

This router works great. Haven't had to reset it or think about it since i installed it. Has good range for such a small router. In my opinion, most people that give bad reviews simply don't know how to configure their electronics.
