Works just like I was expecting.

I've been using the Enkay White Rouge Polishing Compound on my strop for about 25 years and decided to give the green a try.

The green compound is a little harder to apply to a strop because it's designed to be extra dry.

It's for use, color buffing Stainless Steel with a buffing wheel and not really designed to apply to a strop by hand.

Heating the strop with a hair drier helps spread the polish evenly though and I didn't have any trouble.

I added a few pictures for people who aren't sure how big a 4 oz bar is.

This is a good product for honing and polishing the edge of stainless steel knives that have just been sharpened. I use it by applying a very SMALL amount on my strap to smooth and polish my knife. This bar (unless you sharpen knives for a living) should last you a lifetime. Like the old BrilCreme commercieal sloga said "A Little Dab will do you."

make it shine

Working on an old 1954 car with lots of stainless trim on it.With a buffing wheel on a drill,it shined the trim up wonderfully.took a hour or two of buffing and the trim looks better than the chrome now.dont forget to order an extra buffing wheel or two,this amount of polish will last for a while.

Great stuff if you plan on using it for that ...

I use this on my leather strops to sharpen my blades. Great stuff if you plan on using it for that purpose. You'll need a heat source to get it to really absorb into the leather though.
