Received item in mail on time, two day shipping. Chrome 2" ball with lock nut and bolt. When I placed order I forgot to check the width size of hitch bolt hole and the ball bolt was too large, make sure when ordering you know the ball size and bolt size. Lucky had an extra hitch extension bar with larger bolt hole.
Would recommend product and will purchase more when needed.

This ball worked great, I towed a hefty load (hefty for my vehicle at least) with it over 2,000 miles in blistering summer heat and no problems whatsoever.

That said, the chrome plating on it wore off in less than 10 miles of towing an empty trailer. When I unhooked the trailer to check the ball, the front and top surfaces (load bearing surfaces) were missing nearly all of the chrome and some sort of copper looking alloy was showing instead. Not sure why the chrome is so poorly done, but that's my only complaint. A great, sturdy ball with a very stout shank and high weight rating was exactly what I needed.

Just make sure to follow the directions and torque any ball. This one required 250 ft/lbs.

It's a tow ball. It's shaft diameter was perfect fit, but make sure you have a big enough wrench on hand to grip the nut. 1 1/2 inch.
