I had one like this that lasted for over six years. I use it all the time because I don't put any of my clothes in a dryer. Well, it finally bit the dust. I went back to Bed, Bath and Beyond in the hopes of getting another one but they didn't have the same style. After trying 3 other types of drying racks, I finally found this one--just like my old one--and am happy as a clam. It holds quite a bit. I usually have 2 loads of clothes--8 jeans, 10 shirts, etc.--and it holds it all. If you're looking for a clothing rack, you've found the best one!

I bought this rack to help our house become more "green." Figuring that my dryer runs non-stop on the weekend, I decided to get a clothes dryer rack. I already have an outside clothesline, but it is usually rainy, snowy, or dark after I get home from work. So I bought this rack to dry smaller items in a rarely used bedroom. This rack holds TONS of stuff! It is much sturdier than the photo. The horizontal rods are painted, so they are smooth enough for stockings. I load the rack one time with socks & underwear. Another day I covered it with dish towels. It is big enough to hold full-size bath towels. On sunny weekends, I set it on the back deck to supplement the outside clothes line. It collapses nearly flat to store easily under a bed or in a closet. I intend to order a second one for daughter who is away at med school. She cannot spend a great deal of time waiting in the laundry room of her apt building, & it is not safe to leave items unattended.

The clothes rack I ordered came today~ broken. When I contacted Polsteins Home & Beyond I was told that they could not send me a paid return label because they sell wholesale, and it would cut into their margin! From where I sit, this is a most unsatisfactory reponse to a problem. The rack looks like it would be great, but if you want one, buy it from someone other than Polsteins Home & Beyond! There was no packing material in the box, and the box is mangled. And the shipping fee was nearly as much as the item. Perhaps Amazon should drop them as a supplier!

I really like this drying rack. I bought it to replace a rack that had unfinished wooden rods that had gotten mildewy over the years. This new rack I have been using for the past two months during this hot, humid summer, and there is no mildew at all on the rods or on my clothes. The white, finished rods came absolutely smooth except for two pin-size, rough spots where the paint was a bit thicker, and I scraped those two spots smooth with just my fingernail. Two tips for using this rack: (1) make sure that wet clothes touch only the finished rods and not the unfinished wood frame, and (2) put rubber cups (sold for putting under furniture legs) under the four legs to keep the rack from sliding around on a hardwood floor. Also great is that this rack takes a whole load of laundry yet has a small footprint. I highly recommend!

So many stores like Target, etc, will have smaller, less sturdy versions of this idea. But if you want a drying rack that will last and is big enough, this is the one you're looking for.

This is a good, easy to pop-up or fold down, drying rack. The dowel layout maximizes drying space and provides the ability to lay out heavier sweaters with good support, and all this comes in a rack that can be folded up and stored easily. The dowels are painted and smoothed so clothing slides over them. Overall it was a really great value and I'm very pleased with it.

I'd spent a while trying to find a durable wooden clothes dryer without having to spend a fortune. I am happy to say, I've finally found it with this clothes dryer! It is very sturdy and inexpensive; most of the other clothes dryers that I researched were well over $50. This product also shipped very quickly! I would definitely recommend this clothes dryer!
