I love the handle on this baton. I was in conducting class at college this semester and a friend gave me her mollard baton with a different handle. This one fits my hand better. The tear drop shaped bottom sits in my hand in the right place. Love the lightness and the way they make them balanced so that it feels like an extension of your arm. I liked it so much I ordered the 16 inch one but had to order it directly from mollard to get this same handle. Love it. Super light. Fits into the "crook" or my hand perfectly.

I have had the privilege of trying many brands of batons over the years and any director would know that it's more than just a stick 3) I absolutely love it it has a nice feel a great equilibrium and beautiful rose wood I eould reconnect thi baton because it is everything you would want in a high line quality. Mollard has a reputation for excellence, and this baton is no exception. I own one other Mollard baton with a slightly thinner base grip, but I like the feel of this grip a little better. The best baton is the one that feels the best in your own hand... so while I affirm the excellent physical qualities of this baton, I also encourage you to try a few different brands/styles/lengths (if possible) and find what feels good for you. Mollard is a reliable place to start, if you need a first baton.
