5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my Nikon D40, June 6, 2007
I wanted a camera bag that didn't look like, well a camera bag. I got the Crumpler because it looks like a messenger bag and didn't stick out to bad. I have a Nikon D40 and kit lens and this bag fits perfectly for it. There is one support pad which you can adjust, I have it supporting the camera grip and the lens seems fine in it. There is a little room left for a small notebook or external flash.

The strap on this doesn't have any soft padding for your neck, just that black strap material so when you sling it over your should it hits your neck. The main compartment doesn't close with a zipper but only with the main flap. The flap though has a velcro and snap/hook closure.

The main thing about this bag is the looks, nice modern. The material, seems abit nicer than the Lowepro or Tamrac bags. The bag itself is not a big box, it has softer walls meaning it isn't "rectangular" but more of a natural shape to it.

I like to take my camera everywhere I go and the Crumpler is designed to not be so obvious there's a camera in it. If you have more than the kit lens and flash, or have a larger DSLR (my Nikon D40 is pretty smalled compared to other DSLRs) I would look for a bigger bag. Cheers.

5.0 out of 5 stars crumpler 4mdh for the canon rebel xti, July 16, 2008
I just got my crumpler today and I'm so excited to take it out for a shoot.

Size: I was able to load in my xti along with the 18-55mm kit lens attached with some space left over. I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable sticking another lens in there without it being a tight squeeze, but it's a very good fit for the body, kit lens, and charger/maybe a filter or two.

For a day shoot or a short trip where I don't plan on changing lenses constantly this is going to be a good light bag.

And, as they always mention with crumpler, the bag doesn't look like a typical camera bag. I got the red one and I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size....and beautiful product!, June 9, 2009
The bag proved to be a perfect size to carry my Canon G10 with two small lenses, lens adapter, shooting cable, and there is still room to accommodate another item in the inside (e.g. an external flash), take cleaners or filters in the external pocket -pretty much things not too bulky. Carry your mobile, keys, etc. in the two side external pockets. You can adjust the size of the internal compartment so the camera feels safe in there.

The build and materials are of quality, bag is well padded and lightweight to make it good for purpose, but best of all is the looking, really beautiful to carry on.
