I've used Dispoz-a-scoops for years when I take my shih-tzu for a walk and love the way they can be closed securely after scooping so any odor is unable to escape the bag for the duration of the walk. One holds quite a bit for the size of the bag and your hands never touch anything unpleasant. They can be easily carried in a pocket or small purse. There is even a handle that has a pop-out piece that can be used for a scooper for less solid pickups; then just drop the handle pop-out piece in the bag. A must-have for any dog who is fortunate enough to have someone to take him for a walk.

We've been using these bags for many years for yard clean-up. I love how easy they are to use and dispose of waste. We do put the sealed bag into a plastic grocery bag before disposing of it though. We usually receive a handful of bags that are not as well made as the others. The wire may come loose or the bag comes off of the cardboard, but it's still usable.

We use these to clean up after our dog (medium/25 lb dog).

There carry easy & work well. We like them because we don't have to touch anything. They also close easily and are simple/clean to carry with their card-board handle.

The plastic used is very durable, with a wire frame supporting it. The cardboard handle finishes by allowing you to easily carry & close the top of the plastic.

There is a spot in the handle that will tear out, if you need something to help push/guide things.

We use these all the time (we have ordered many of these). We keep them with us everywhere we go, in-case we need them (back-packs, glove box, hand-bags etc.).

These bags are great for someone who is grossed out about the warmth and squishiness of picking up after your dog with a bag. Honestly, I used these for years, until I had a baby and was forced to get over my issues with poop. My biggest complaint with these is the price. If you take your pooch on a daily walk, you go through these quickly and that cost adds up. Also, while they are great when picking up after your dog on the dirt, using them on grass makes for a bit of a mess. Finally, since they clearly don't seal, you are stuck with the smell and a bag that can have some poop on the outside until you can find a place to dispose of the bag.

Yes, the other reviewer is correct- sometimes they break. Most times they don't and I hate picking up my dog's poop on our walks. These bags make it(poop) so much more tolerable and the walk WAY more enjoyable. I'd rather not start my morning with gagging while picking up poop!

I take these with me when I go out to walk my dog. They are a little difficult to use as they often won't close when you're done picking up. I've solved this problem by closing the package before I need it, then pulling the bag back out so that it closes easily when you're ready. These bags weren't that hard to use the first time I ordered them, so they must have changed something in their manufacturing. I would have given them five stars if they worked smoothly, but they're fairly sturdy and you don't have to handle the excrement with a plastic bag.

It's a well-designed scooper, but it's probably not for everyone. I much prefer it to a plastic bag system as I do not like to feel the squish, the plastic bag is worthless if it's runny, and my dog goes about 3 different times on a walk, so I don't have to keep getting out new bags. The wire along the edge of the sack allows you to get up under the mess and scoop it in the bag. The limitations are that you are holding an open sack dog waste in your hand until the end of your walk or you find a trash can. Also, if you push down too hard, the wire will come out of the cardboard handle. It's not a flaw, it's just a limitation. So, don't go pushing too hard in the grass.
Overall, I love 'em and have used them for years.
