The first four winners were all great tailbacks starting with Mike Garrett in 1965. O.J. Simpson followed suite three years later. John Robinson coached the next two immortal backs, Charles White (1979) and Marcus Allen (1981). During the Pete Carroll era, a couple of quarterbacks cracked the prestigious all backs club, Carson Palmer in 2002 and Matt Leinart

This DVD wastes no hype, describing USC football as a religious experience. In describing Pete Carroll's hiring, narrator Roger Springfield says that USC was "delivered" from a wilderness period by "the Second Coming of McKay," Pete Carroll.

It has good featrures, like interviews with Marcus Allen and Craig Fertig, and reveals a death threat against Coach McKay in 1975, but as much fun as it is for Trojan alums, I recommend TROJAN VIDEO GOLD, narrated by Tom Kelly for SC's 100th anniversary in 1988. Kelly is the true voice of SC!

That one was just a little more true to the old days, in my view, but this is still great stuff!

USC football has a great history. So you get all of the history on the best football team in the history of the NCAA. We lead even OHio State, MIchigan, Georgia, and let's see us lead Notre Dame! YOu will get all the history, and who else wants to know about all out bowls? If you do, you need to watch this. IT really does show the colorful history of THe USC Trojans football program.

Go Trojans!
