Better than a converter.

I bought the con-20 which is supposed to fit the Pilot Vanishing Point but doesn't at all. It was a leaky mess.
These "disposable" cartridges can be filled with custom ink of any color and the plastic connector snaps into my VP and holds a substantial amount of ink. I use a syringe to refill the cartridge.

A light, bright red ink

This is one of the lighter-hued and brighter red inks for fountain pens. It is good for marking up and editing. It is not very water-resistant. It is not for two-sided writing on bad paper.
