The Panasonic CQ-C5110U MOS-FET high-power, in-car amplifier/CD player (50W x 4 channels) delivers pure signal output by minimizing crossover distortion during current-to-voltage conversion of the signal from the preamp stage. What does this mean? Benefits are apparent in an excellent high-range signal-to-noise ratio, reflecting minimal treble noise. The result is highly faithful sound reproduction with expressive musical detail. This unit also features a subwoofer pre-amp output, enabling you to send music through an external amplifier for a booming sound.

This CD receiver not only plays CDs, but also CD-R/RW discs. For your listening pleasure, the acclaimed Alphatuner V FM/AM tuner circuitry is built into this unit as well, and there are 18 FM and 6 AM presets.

You can easily upgrade to an external amp system by using the dual preamp outputs on this 4-channel head unit. This allows for a maximum output voltage of 2.5V and output impedance of 200 ohms that not only help protect the signal from external noise, but also permit low power amp gain for powerful reproduction of transient peaks with minimum distortion. The CQ-C5110U offers the following CD changer controls: track/disc scan, track/disc repeat, and search/random play.

Features
Large Rotary Knob. A large rotary volume control knob on the left side of the front panel adds to the hi-fi audio image. Operation is easy and familiar. Push in on the large knob to make item selections, and turn to adjust level. Not only does it operate smoothly, but it also provides a satisfying tactile solidity.

Sound Quality. There are six preset modes (FLAT, POP, ROCK, VOCAL, JAZZ, FLAT). You can customize your settings for these (except FLAT) and save them for instant recall.
