This CD is just a "teaser" for his book and website..., September 25, 2005
I was disappointed that the entire twenty or so minutes were not unlike a sales pitch and your only salvation is to go to his website and to REALLY be able to read his info you must join his group. (Rates range from like $9.95-$400+) Trudeau basically hits you with the old "conspiracy" sales technique. We have all being conned/poisoned by the "man". The "man" or "THEY" being the government, the medical community, the "carb industry", the "anti-carb" industry, the dairy people, the grain industry, the drug companies, the sugar industry... no one is safe really. You can't eat American meat because it's loaded with hormones, you can't eat the fruits or vegetables because they're loaded with toxins. You shouldn't even drink the tap water. RUN! You must buy Kevin's deionizer system so that your water doesn't KILL you! I mean really. The word SCAM is used sooo many times that I started to wonder if I wasn't being scammed by this CD. He takes bits & pieces of knowledge from different groups of thought and glues them together for this new "Kevin Trudeau Bible of Health". His proposed "life saving" rules range from the very reasonable (eat breakfast, exercise, drink plenty of water) to the ridiculous: wear magnetic life-regenerating rings while you sleep. Trudeaus blasts the Atkins group, the FDA as "SCAMMERS" but at least they have based their teachings on some type of independent published data. What's HIS backing? Oh, yeah: Trudeau has "been told by lots and lots of people that the regenerating rings are really, really great!" Oh, OK... He does admit that this CD is not really complete and that if you want the WHOLE story to buy his "bestseller of all times" book (true quote) and to sign on to his website. Still, as I mentioned before, some of his advice was good even though you have to glean through bunches of crap to see it. I don't recommend buying this CD. I would have done better getting the book, but then again maybe I would have had more to complain about...

SAVE SOME $, SAME INFORMATION AVAILABLE AT HIS WEBSITE, November 6, 2005
I purchased this cd not knowing the exact information is already on his website, word-for-word. (I was already a member before I purchased this off of amazon). The only reason I would rate this lower than a 5 is that I don't think it is necessary to get the audio version of what is already written, unless for some reason this is more convenient or perhaps inspirational heard aloud.
Save some money and become a member [...] for almost half the price of the cd for the same information, (but cancel before 1 month, because the membership renews). The website is very unorganized, but *everything* on this cd is written out on the weight-loss link, and if you have time, browse the site and ask questions. (Make sure the wt-loss pages are in landscape format under the Page Setup option before printing, otherwise the sentences get cut off.) I'm not trying to advertise his website, I'm only pointing out you can save a few bucks and find this information and more.
He does advertise his website and his unreleased book version more than once on the cd, but the information he provides is crucial for weight-loss. He does not try to sell anything specific for the actual wt-loss, it's all very simple and several cleansing processes that have helped me lose inches by themselves. He lists in order of importance and the website happens to list it in the same order. It almost sounds TOO simple, but just doing a few of them shows how it works- he points this out, too. It's not a "diet" just a few things to do or add to your regular eating habit.
You are paying for information, not for a weird system or gadget, it's only $9.99 and he shows you nothing else is needed- hence you may feel cheated- but what he says is not common knowledge and he only shows "they" have been cheating us.
I had become a member because of how successful a family member of mine has been following his guidelines, her and her husband are visibly healthier (they are in their 40's). Afterwards, I purchased his most recent book and this cd together, now I know I didn't need the cd.

Save your Money, Real Waste!, October 10, 2005
Throughout the CD he keeps telling you there is more detailed info in his book, well why come out with the CD??? There is no real mystery to losing weight, you need to utilize self control and exercise. He mainly tells listeners to buy everything organic and raw, but unless you are earning 1 million dollars a year this is impossible because with the latest Hurricanes and rising costs organic items of any kind will cost you an arm and a leg!! He focuses a lot on the use of organic apple cider vinegar and grapefruit. Ok that's all good but too much of anything isn't good for you especially those two things which will give your body high levels of acid causing you to be acidic, which will then lead to more problems. Whatever you do you need to do in moderation and balance your diet out with the right amount of nutrients, not to mention drink lots of water and exercise. Good Luck and God Bless!
