My yellow lab loves his hyper dog tennis ball sling shot. He wore his first bands with pouch out after about a year so I ordered two more as replacements. They're a little hard to get on to the frame, but I guess if they went on easy, they'd come off easy too. I would have preferred to buy these locally because the shipping cost more than the product. It is a good dog toy though for those of us with retrieving fools.

This replacement pouch for the Hyper Dog is made well, and was shipped very promptly. I use this for my dog 2 times every day, the plastic end eventually does crack, but I just cut that part off, slide the sling back on and keep using it until the plastic is just too short to shoot. One of these lasts at least a year if not longer. I love it!

It makes a good repair for the tennis ball launcher. Just remember to center the pouch - you'll have to slide one side on a little more than the other to get it centered. The directions don't tell you that.

I didn't think it would break this soon. (I am reviewing the February 2013 purchase, not the July 2013 replacement purchase.) The February purchase lasted less than six months before it tore where the tubing attaches to the launcher. The product I received was not the same as pictured. I contacted the seller who stated the one I received was the newer and "improved" product. It wasn't. It was the same old black tubing that I had before, and it actually did not hold up as long as the first one.

The Launcher itself is a great toy for my Labrador Retriever who likes a longer retrieve range than I can get with a Chuck-It. If Hyper Dog could replace the surgical tubing they use with something stronger, it would be perfect.

Do I recommend this product? It depends. If your dog is an avid retriever, and you know the tubes won't last very long, then yes, you'll probably get your money's worth. But be prepared. With daily use, it's not very likely the tubing will last a year.

I actually bought this to replace a broken pouch and bands on my wire antenna laucher and it was a perfect replacement for the RadioWave Hyper Hanger. Direct fit with no sorting about to make it work. I tried ordering from RadioWave but their product never arrived, this one certainly did and works fine.

Works great for my four ball launcher. Make sure you glue/re glue the caps as described in the instructions (otherwise they spin and make it next to impossible to slide the band up the shaft. Also add the water to the inside of the band slowly and pinch off the open end and work the water as far up the band as you can. One other tip that will sound gross to some but once you have wet the inside of the tube, I added some spit ( it IS quite slick ) down the tube and also on the metal rods. It definitley made it easier. Also wipe off the outside of the tube for better grip to push up the band. You have to work it a bit at a time, kind of like a tiny rubber wave. same problem as alot of other people the band broke after just a few shots, which brakes when its pulled back and the band leaves a nice red mark on your cheek (thank god not the eye). at $7.60 i thought i'd try the Nuo Ya001 black tube 5mm*2.5m replacement band, but the die. is why to small. I'm going to still try it maybe it's better rubber

This system is the best I've found for throwing balls for the dogs. Yes, they break, and I have to replace the pouch every few months. However, I can sling the ball farther, and I can use either arm.
