A hem came out of my rather new pants. When I took my last pair in for repair, I noticed the seamstress used this tape and after a 5 minute fix, charged me $10. I bought the tape which should last for eternity and already saved a pair of pants. It's held in wash and wear time after time.

I purchased a roll of this tape five or six months ago to "hem" two pairs of cheap polyester dress pants for work, and I was fairly impressed at how well it worked for me.

I can't speak for anyone else's experiences, but I've worn a pair of pants hemmed with this tape to work every day for five or more months now, and the adhesive still hasn't loosened or come unstuck. So for my purposes, this stuff is great.

Here are a few things to keep in mind though:

1. I haven't tried the tape with anything other than polyester, so I can't speak to its effectiveness with other fabrics.

2. I don't do "heavy duty" work. It's office work with approximately 1.5 hours of brisk walking each day.

3. Instead of "washing" the pants, I used one of those home dry cleaning kits and then tumble dried them on medium heat for 30 minutes.

But overall, I'm satisfied with the way this tape performs, and I'd buy it again.

I instantly hemmed 4 pairs of curtains in my house using my iron and this fusing tape. In some cases I had to use two strips for one hem because its narrow and the fabric was heavy. But I'm thrilled that I avoided hours of tedious sewing and ended with a result of drapes that look much better now.

This stuff really Works like Magic. First time I've used this product and it didn't disappoint. Used it to make my own two side panel curtains that flanks the front door. The material was faux linen so a semi rough material. Just follows the insructions and they came out great. A lot easier than I imagined and beat dragging out the sewing machine by far. I'll have to follow up to see how it will hold up against washing but the bond seems pretty strong.
