SINCE IT'S (a) citrate of iron, it's PROBABLY the best form to take on an empty stomach; Remember, though, like most iron, it may constipate you; IF that's a problem, consider Sundown "perfect iron", plus the fact that it's much less toxic than most forms of iron, an important consideration in any setting W/ children present!
