Leaks so badly that once I put oil in, it can't even be tipped sideways without spilling oil all over the place. This should be taken off amazon. Once I put oil in it I could not return it. I've used many bottles just lit it. The usually have larger leak proof caps I wrote to seller. No response..

The bottle works just fine. I knew exactly what I needed and the size. The spout was important to fill the hydrolic fluid in the steering column on my boat with out spilling it all over. Charging over $4 for a $0.20 bottle is robbery! Most other suppliers give you 6 to 12 bottles for that price. I wanted that specific size and my time was worth more then the time to search and find exactly this from another source. So I bought it. It came fast and on time. Just overpriced.

First, this bottle appears to be the same as the ones in the 12-pack sold by NPS and fulfilled by Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008IRYLPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), based on close scrutiny of the bottles and the manufacturer stamping on the bottom ('plastirey containers" in Ontario, CA).

Unfortunately, there is a design flaw in the spout that causes it to leak. It leaks from the base of the spout when the spout is open. I confirmed this on all 13 bottles I ordered by opening each and blowing on the spout. So, liquid soap or lotion leaks out from the base, wasting material and making a mess. The problem is partly alleviated by NOT opening the spout all the way when using.

The leak is also a problem when the spout is closed. Again, the base of spout leaks. I only noticed this after I lost 1/4 bottle of soap to my gym shorts.

I use it to lube the deck and belt of my treadmill. The silicone lube comes in bottles that are very difficult to use, and even more difficult to get all of the expensive silicone from. I now turn them upside down and let them drain into this bottle. Great product!
