Using 2x4basics Picnic Table Kit, Green, and your 2x4's, you can custom build a very sturdy picnic table set up to 8 feet (2.4m). It's Easy! Simple assembly with only a powered screwdriver and a saw. Only straight 90 degree cuts are required - no miters or angles. If you would like rounded corners, a handy downloadable cutting template is provided on our website. All hardware is included. Made of durable and maintenance free structural resin the all-weather frame is built to last. The assembled table unit stands 29 inches (737 mm) tall and 30 inches (767 mm) wide, and the 2 bench units stand 17 inches (433 mm) tall and 15 inches (381 mm) wide. You choose the length. Green in color. This table turned out exactly as promised. We used 8 foot 2 X 4's to make a very long table and benches. We did have to screw in some supports underneath to make the table surface level-- as the wood was so long and slightly warped, even though we picked through carefully at the lumber place. We stained it and coated with three coats of spar urethane. Anyway-- we are thrilled-- have had the table finished for several weeks, and have had several parties-- everyone asks about the picnic table and where we bought it.....My husband made this with our two boys-- eight and ten, and they are very proud to say they made it!

My husband and I built this table in an afternoon and it looks great. We stained/sealed with a burgandy stain and it looks better than any finished table we could find. Very sturdy at 8 foot. We did find that if you wait to tighen the braces until after you have the tops of bench and table assembled it is easier to get the table "square".

This table frame looks way better than the picture and is very sturdy and durable. I am very pleased with this purchase. We used redwood with a rich stain and next to the green it looks absolutely gorgeous!!
