PROS:
-It's a placemat.

CONS:
-Doesn't stick to wood tables
(I didn't think it would be a problem since our hook-on high chair would secure it to the table, but since it doesn't lay flat and sits off the table due to the suction cups underneath, our curious 7-month-old spent every meal pulling up the edges and trying to figure out how to get it to his mouth).

-The cutesy little design is raised making a zillion nooks and crannies for food to get stuck in if you don't run the whole thing under water immediately after using (not practical with a hook-on high chair).

-The reservoir doesn't interface well with a hook-on high chair, and doesn't interface with the Bjorn soft bibs.

-Doesn't lay flat, even with hook-on high chair arms on top of it for 2 weeks.

We have another one of these in the green color and LOVE it. We haven't had any problems with the material that it is made of and it has washed clean and not stained anywhere near as easily. For some reason the pink version is made from a thicker rubber that cracks easily and the suction cups get warped so that they do not stick to the table. I can't figure out why the two colors are so different, but I just wanted to pass on that the green version of the same product is WAY better quality. I have used two different pink ones and both of them have cracked and will not stick to the table as well. Works great as a placemat to give your kid a place that you can put food, but don't count on the little trough catching any food once it gets cracked on both sides. We have had the green one for longer, use it daily, and it still looks brand new. We have used the pink one a total of about 15 times and it looks like we have used it for years. I just wanted to pass on this info specifically about this color. I would give raving reviews about the product itself if they all worked like the green one!

I am so crazy about the Summer Infant Tiny Diner mat! This is the perfect accessory for any mothers diaper bag! First of all I love the pretty pink color. The material is a very soft feeling silicone, however you can feel the thickness and know it's durable! I love that the mat rolls up very small so it's easily tucked away wherever you need to place it. No matter how dirty you get it, it easily wipes clean!

What makes the mat my go to for anytime we are on the run is the suction cups! My daughter is in the awkward stage of wanting to throw everything. I just suction the mat to the table and place her food on the mat.

Have received so many compliments on this everywhere we go! It's now my go to gift to purchase for baby showers!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!! We get compliments on it all the time when we are out to eat. This lives in my son's diaper bag so that anytime we go to a restaurant or to company's house for dinner we will have it. I love the fact that it is a CLEAN place to cut up food for my son, or dump Puffs or Cheerios out for him to grab (I would never be able to do that on a restaurant table - GERMS!!! And if he had a plate he would just knock it off the table.) The best part is the little hanging crumb catcher. There will still be a few things that make it to the floor, but the little catcher is AWESOME and catches most of the things he drops. This should be in every mama's diaper bag!!

This is a convenience when dining out with little ones. I only wish I had thought of it. The tray is practical, but little ones may find that they want to pull it off. The size is big enough to cover a good space for protection. I am sure that wait staff appreciate the attempt to cut down on the mess.

We have the $25 IKEA high chair which is great, but the tray isn't adjustable so my little one drops a lot of food through the gap between her and the tray. The width of the scoop fits the IKEA chair perfectly and the flaps on the sides extend beyond the tray. You can use two of the three suctions on each side. The other suction hangs off the edge. The suction power is pretty good, but definitely not stronger than my 10 month old. When she's done eating, regardless of how much food is on the mat, she will remove it from the high chair and toss it.

I want to like this so much. I love the idea of the troth, I love the color and print... but that's about it. It will not stay flat, it will not stay rolled, it will not stick to our wooden table. We wanted to use the placemat with our highchair that clamped on the table, I read that it would go OVER the handle so it will stay clean, it won't. and so the flap only encourages my daughter to pull on it and mess with it. So I placed it under the handle, and it still flipped up. We changed our mind on this high chair, so I wanted to keep this for our to-go mat, I will take a picture of how it rolls... or shall I say how it does NOT roll. It doesn't stay rolled well, so it comes undone in the diaperbag. what a mess. Just avoid this.

I've used this placemat when I take my son out to restaurants and didn't feel confident in the cleanliness of the table. Before he could use a bowl, I would put this placemat down and put his food right onto it. I knew it was clean, so I didn't worry. It doesn't stick to every type of table, so you have to kind of watch it because the kids figure out very quickly how to pull it up. The little tray that the end is great for catching food that they drop - and it is dishwasher safe, which is an added bonus. The best part: it rolls up for easy storage in your diaper bag.
