Boy! Have Paint by Numbers changed since I was a kid! I bought this Paint by Number for my 96 year old Mother in Law and after carefully retyping and laminating the directions to be VERY easy to read and understand on how to mix the colors (she has dementia and confuses easily), she is having a wonderful time with completing her little painting. She enjoys it so much that she told me to order others, which I did. The brush is much better quality than I expected and the little pots of paint hold enough to get the job done, although the lighter colors tend to be a little see-through and require a 2nd coat. Overall, I would recommend it for the price.

Sad as it sounds, I quite enjoy paint by numbers. They're easy, I don't have to sit and think, and in this case in particular, the picture was EXACTLY like the front of the box! Easy to follow and although I'm never going to be an artist, this actually made me feel like I'd accomplished something that I wouldn't be embarrassed to show people!!

I bought this picture of the wolf for my 10 year old daughter who loves animals but has never painted by number. Shw works on it a couple of hours a week, which is the part of this review I feel is important. The paint wells seal tightly with a snap can, and are all connected by a ring that doesn't allow them to be separated and lost. She can open them at her leisure and stop when she likes. The quality of the kit is great because the paint is well designed and remember to wash the brush after each use. Even when she let it dry after a few days she was able to clean it under warm water and get going again. For the amount of pleasure she gets and the price of this painting, it is well worth the effort to buy this product.

This is a great paint-by-number. It was very fun to paint, and the bright colors make the butterflies look 3D. I love how the butterflies turned out. It is a great paint-by-number for beginners or children.

I love to paint by number, especially when the finished product looks like an original. My friends and family cannot believe the painting came out so well and it sits proudly in my bedroom with the other butterfly accessories. It's a great product that looks professional.

My 12 year old daughter received this for Christmas. She had never done a paint by number before, and it took her several hours to complete it. Some paint mixing required. Not for very young children but a great set. The butterflies and shading look awesome when finished!
