I was told that this item would make my old headlights look like NEW, so I figured why not give it a try. Well today 10-12-13, was warm enough & not raining for me to do just that. I put an amount on a papertowel, then proceeded to smear it all over my headlight. Once so smeared, I polished the same headlight(plastic, you know the type). And by the time i polished the amount off and did one final pass to remove any extra, my HEADLIGHTS looked like NEW. So all I can say, is TRY this. My car is a 1994 Toyota Camry, looks like I got new headlight lenses. I would recommend this product to ANYONE who has foggy headlights and was quoted more that $10 to restore them.......for less that $10 i got both mine & 1 of my mom's (matches her new one she bought), and have more left to do others.

I commute on a sports tourer motorcycle with 2 hard cases. I accidentally bumped into other cars 2 times on the side cases. Both were slow speed around 5 to 8 miles per hour so there's no major damage on my bike and the 2 cars since basically it's plastic hits plastic. However, I could see some scratches and little bit paint fell off on the bike. Then I used a soft towel and little of the compound. After 10 minutes the side cases were back to almost original. In additional to the compound I used a car touch-up paint. Now the bike shows no sign of accidents. I would say this product if very useful if the damage is not deeper than clear coat. That means some regular, not very serious scratches can be removed from the compound. If the bike is dropped and touches ground, then the scratches are probably not doable.

It is not a finishing polish, but rather a mid step polish. After you wet sand the clear coat, I use this then a finer compound to finish, but this does get rid of the hairline scratches well, but not a finishing polish.

I have a White 95 Tercel and I keep getting brown spots on the hood, roof and trunk in the spring and fall. Wax wouldn't remove them but this with cheese cloth removed them with no effort. I then commenced to do the whole car. I then put a coat of wax (rain-x ultra wax which is now extinct but I have one can almost empty and a new can I use for emergencies)...the car was the brightest white I've ever seen it! The rear bumper had some dark marks from 20 years of road grime that came off with ease...I highly recommend for white vehicles (only vehicles I used it on)...I also used this to clean off the headlight covers on my 03 Corolla and they turned out awesome! Try making a small spot on your vehicle and if it makes a bright white spot, then your vehicle can be like new after using this product...I used a wax afterward and recommend doing so if you want extra shinny...have fun and remember - a clean car is a happy car...

A word of caution: I have not actually used this product, because when I read the instructions on the can, it said not to use it on clear-coat finishes, which most cars have these days. There was no mention of this in the on-line product description, but I was reluctant to use it, since it might be too coarse for clear-coat paint.
