I really don't like this switch, but I choose to purchase it because mine would not make contact any longer. It is rather expensive for what it is, but I just had my Warn winch rebuilt for $68 and another $85 for a switch was still cheaper than buying a new Warn winch. Warning: Do not take it apart, because they are difficult to put back together. The after market remotes are less expensive, but did not like the reviews I was reading about them.

WELL, THE SWITCH DOES NOT HAVE LONG ENOUGH STUDS TO HOOK THE WIRES ONTO. ALSO DO NOT TAKE IT APART AS ABOUT 13 PIECES FALL OUT. SOME ARE TINY. TOOK ME 3 HOURS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIT IT BACK TOGETHER BUT I SUCEEDED.WHEW!
I WILL HOOK IT IN TO THE WINCH AND SEE HOW IT WORKS. THE OHM METER SAYS IT WILL WORK OK.

Received the switch reasonable quick. Everything that was stated was included. The switch has worked reliably through the winter raising my snow blade while plowing. This is a more expensive switch, but much more reliable than the cheaper solenoid activated switches. If fact, I bought this switch to replace the solenoid piece of garbage that I had before.

This is second one I have purchased. The original could be taked apart and cleaned. The replacements can not. The first replacement I ground the rivit and found the spring holder damaged. Probably because someone rotated it to hard and far. Just be careful when you twist the in and out.

the centering spring in mine failed after only 4 years which ended up damaging my warn winch. I wanted to replace it with same switch only out of laziness (to minimize hassle of wiring changes) but I will search elsewhere for a less expensive alternative. I'm not crazy about the design. I took it apart and tried to repair it but the spring is broken.

Very similar to the unit I was attempting to repair. Same brand name but quality not as good as 20 year old original. Was able to modify new unit to replace old one. All in all, it solved my problem with minimal fuss and expense.

Ive had this switch on my ATV for 10 years. My kid have used it alot. Its has never failed. You get what you pay for on this one. It was installed by the Warn dealer.
