    This is a really good looking shoe. This is why I didn't rate 1/5 stars.

    However, this is the SECOND pair of shoes with the SAME EXACT problem. One picture below is the first shoe and the next photo is the replacement pair of shoes.

    There is a serious manufacturing error with this specific shoe. I would stay away unless they decide to fix their manufacturing errors. If they fix the issue, I think its a comfortable shoe with a great style. But right now, the shoes don't stay intact for longer than a week.

    I have purchased Sperry Deck Shoes for years. This is the first time I purchased the Billfish series. Not only was my purchase a great buy but one of the most comfortable deck shoes I have ever worn. I wear them almost daily and they still look like new. I love the feel and my feet are not sweating from the lack of air cirulation. GREAT Deck Shoe!!!!!

    My second pair and the stitching came off of the sole in less than 4 months. Comfortable but for the price i thought they would last a little longer

    My husband wears the daylights out of his Sperry boat shoes. This time I bought some that looked nice enough to wear out to dinner and use on the boat...and he says they are super comfortable. Will buy another pair when these wear out.

    My husband has been wearing this brand and style shoes for over twenty years. They are long lasting, comfortable, and functional. They're not only great on the deck of a boat, but stylish with casual slacks or shorts. They are highly recommended.

    My son and I have both worn this model shoe for a number of years. We currently have 3 pairs of them. All great. When I received my order the shoes stitching around the front of the shoes was not covered by the insole which made these impossible to wear with bare feet or even with thin socks. I sent them back. I went to a sperry store and found a pair with the exact problem. I ask for them to get another pair and they were stitched correctly so I bought them. Either Sperry's quality control is awful or they have two different locations manufacturing these. Anyway, great shoe but go to a shoe store to make sure you get a pair that has been stitched correctly.

    These shoes were made in a different country than my Top Siders of a few years ago, and the fit is just slightly off, even though the size is identical. There is something lower quality about these than my previous purchases of the same shoe. Made in China.
