This double-headed measuring spoon appears to be well constructed on initial inspection, with a decent heft and simple, clean appearance. However, less than 6 months after purchase, a minor impact (fall off of a counter) made the 1-tbsp measuring scoop pop off of the handle! The revealed weld join was porous. For info this spoon is 18/8 stainless steel, and the spoon is made in China.

Bought as a gag gift for my wife. Except we both love it so much that we tossed out all our various other coffee scoops (we argued about which one was best before this one came along). Scoops right, doesn't spill and is long enough to reach into the bag without getting your hands dirty with ground coffee 'dust' in our bigger gourmet coffee bags. Also works to scoop right amount of beans into my hand grinder.

I don't know why it's so hard to find a dual scoop, but this one is great. I use the big scoop to measure my coffee beans before grinding, then the little scoop for syrup/creamer. Saves me from having to wash an extra spoon every day. Perfect!

Just what I needed! I keep 3 different flavors of capuccino powder mixed up in a big jar. This baby works slick. For the size mug I use, I just scoop two of the bigger scoops in, flip it around and one of the smaller &.... wal-la! (norwegian version of the french spelling) Perfect amount. I was using those regular little plastic coffee scoops before, and they barely have a handle to hold. With this long handle in between the scoopers, I dont have to stick my hand way down in there when powder gets lower.
