I am satisfied with the quality of the parfume. It is identical to the product I used to buy in Macy's before it was discontinued. I will purchase this product again on Amazon.

Not every man can wear this fragrance--which is a good thing because, like the first reviewer says, it makes me weak in the knees to smell. This fragrance is not at all florally or light--yet it's not too strong or heavy, either. It's almost impossible to describe, except to say that it has a sophisticated, refined smell. It lasts forever, and seems to go well with men who tend to have a sweeter natural scent to their skin (guys, you'll have to ask a lady about this--she'll know). Xeryus Rouge is wonderful, though--it in no way offends the nose, like so many of the more current fragrances seem to (you know, with that almost-noxious too-fruity or sharp smell that invades and attacks your nostrils). This one is subtle, yet powerfully attractive. I love it and discourage my man from wearing anything else.

I started wearing Xeryus Rouge when I was 18 years old (I'm 34 now). It's always amazed me that the cologne never caught on and became huge. I'm not complaining about that, because it makes me feel somewhat special to be one of the rare men wearing it. I do actually wear it every day, and I get more compliments than you can possibly imagine. I have literally had women put their arms around my neck and refuse to let go simply because of how good it smells. It is powerful yet sinsual.

I do have to say that it is not for everybody. It is not a masking agent, so if you aren't one of those guys that shower a couple times a day, it's not for you (and, I do mean more than once a day). As another reviewer wrote, some men naturally smell different than others. Many people don't realize this, but your sweat will alter the smell of the fragrance. It's really designed more for the sensitive, sophisticated, clean-cut guy rather than a burly biker type.

If you are a romantic, and like intimacy and closeness, then you cannot go wrong with this product. If you are the kind of guy that goes to bars looking for a quick score, then look somewhere else.

And ladies, you will want to carefully evaluate your man before buying this product as well. It cannot alter what they are, and the results can be disappointing if you are expecting miracles from a spray bottle.
