Direct replacement for 2000 Xterra SE. PERFECT. Easy replacement but if this is your first time be sure to un-clip the bottom portion of the fan shroud. It will allow you to pull it out easy AND your return trans line is clipped to it. Press the 2 tabs on the inside and it snaps away. Simple.
Get a set of new clamps. I had to cut one and it justs a waste of time trying to reuse old clamps. These are dirt cheap.

You don't need new hoses if they are in good condition. Some may say differant but I disagree. Check them for problems and make sure they are not dried out and stiff.
For my 2000 the water pump was replaced 4-5 years ago and they where replaced so I reused with no problems.

If you have trouble removing the trans lines just cut them as close as possible to the rad. There is plenty of slack in the line and will make no difference. Save more time.

Product is excellent. Running cool and smooth for 5 days.

I am happy that the all the fittings were in exactly the same position as the original for my 2001 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner. There are two transmission lines on the bottom that were a little hard no remove, but not that bad ( I plugged them while swapping radiators with old AAA batteries! ). Re-install was easier. Tip: One thing that took me a while to figure out is that there is a removable piece of the fan shroud at the bottom ( the bottom 25% of the fan shroud ) that greatly facilitates replacing radiator. There are tabs that can be pushed out at the edges of the removable piece. Remove it before you do anything else and the whole job is less than 30 minutes.
My motor seems to be running smoother and quieter. The old radiator that cracked on the top cap, must have had poorer flow than I realized. It came in box with a decent quantity of hard Styrofoam to protect it during shipping. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Item arrived and was nicely protected. Just remember to handle with gloves and vacuum off all of the tiny Styrofoam. You will need the rubber grommets from the top (2qty) and bottom (2qty) from your old radiator or buy new. Use the provided rubber caps to cover the ends of the transmission lines once you remove the old lines. That will stop some leakage while you remove everything and install the new radiator. I had new hoses and clamps but I reused the transmission lines and clamps after cleaning with some solvent (mineral spirits). The shroud was a tight fit getting back on (into the bottom notches). I filled with 50/50 distilled water. I bought 2 gallons of antifreeze and 2 gallons of distilled water at Wal-Mart. Thus, for a little over $100 I replaced the radiator. I was quoted $475 for the project. It took my about 4 hours total as the shroud was my biggest pain to get off and get back on. The radiator has worked great for three days so far. No more smell of radiator fluid. I also ordered a new radiator cap and refill reservoir to go with the hoses, thermostat and hose clamps. Check your transmission fluid level when you are done. I drove the vehicle for five miles and then checked the radiator fluid. I have a safety radiator cap so I could open it. Make sure it is safe to open when you have driven it. I had to add more antifreeze solution. All in all I am very happy I did this and I bought this radiator from Amazon!

The fit wasn't perfect. The holes for the fan shroud were too small. I just cut a little off of each side of the shroud and it fit (barely). Otherwise it has been perfect.

UPDATE: The radiator has developed a small crack around the filler neck. I had been smelling coolant since the install but could not find the leak until now (6 months later). I have no idea how to return this under warranty without the original box. I guess I am out the $85.56...

I expected to have "tweak" things a bit to fit this replacement radiator in a 2000 Nissan Frontier (2.4 L auto) but it was an exact match for the factory original.
I suggest that you replace your radiator hoses and clamps since you will have to disconnect them anyway. I expected two day delivery and got it in one.
As always make sure the part you order fits your application.......use the Amazon application with the drop down boxes to insure that the part is a correct fit.

I opened the box and noticed that it was very well packaged. So I continued on, hoping it would come with a new radiator cap too since it was labeled as complete. I guess I thought wrong. Overall, it was solid and fits. The only problem I had with it was placing the fan shroud into the support on the radiator. Wasn't a big deal, just had to drill the holes a little bigger.
