This center finder is a great tool with a great price. It's large enough for most spindle work and smaller face turnings. The plastic is pretty thick and has a sturdy feel to it. A great buy - no complaints here. It's a lot easier and quicker to mark your materials with this tool vs. a plain straight edge or ruler. A must have for anyone who does a lot of turning and wants to focus more on creating shavings than setting up materials.

Everywhere else I've seen this type of tool it's at least double the price it is here. It is only worth what Amazon charges, and frankly, it's a heck of a handy little tool. If you do any work with wood, metal, or any material for that matter, it would benefit you to have this. You'll use it more than you think.

This is an awesome little tool and for this price you can buy a dozen and give it to all your wood, metal and tinkering friends. To think I spent all these years finding centers by other means. Why don't we see it in all hardware stores?

It does what it says, finds the center of round or square item. Just make sure you use a fine tipped pencil otherwise your center might be off a hair.
