These are decent, and the handles very comfortable in the hand.

I think for the home user, they'll be good. For me banging 5 days a week, not. The cutters have already bent, and are useless, kinda short to begin with. The other 3 pieces are still useable.

The value for thew set is excellent and costs less than its competition. The tools are made quite sturdy. The grips feel solid- so thankfully I don't think they will come off. My only suggestion is that they make the needle nose pliers a bit slimmer so it would have a better reach into tight openings. I would recommend this set, especially with free Amazon shipping.

The tools are fantastic. Very strong to last a Life time. On the other hand, I like to have my tools lay in the draws of my tool box in the original trays. This tray is not a good fit for the tools. So if you're like me and want a good tray as well... you might have to think... the tools are a very good deal, but the tray...hmmm! I did keep my set because this was a good deal.

Irwin seems to have it right - design tools to do specific tasks extremely well, and are able to withstand alot of use, without falling apart. There are more expensive and less expensive tools out there, but every Irwin product I have purchased to date has been worth the investment. Strongly recommended. GJM
