I have played many RPG's. Final Fantasy being the most note worthy.

I consider this to be as good as 6 and 7 were.

This is bright and colourful. It makes full use of the ultra slick range of colours the PSP is capable of.

It doesn't suffer from page load breaks all the time like some of the PSP games I've played.

Follow the merry band of little robbing monkies until they get split up.

The lead character becomes the central role then as you search the length and breadth of the world to find your lost companions.

Sounds easy enough, but add to that mutants, competitions, talking onions and turning into a dragon and you've got the recipe for hours of gameplay fun.

Theres a game sharing mode and a fishing mode. When you don't feel like you want to enter the main game you can do the fishing challenges instead which is highly addictive.

When the lead character cries, it makes you laugh!

I've not played the original but can well imagine how good it must have been.

It's a very good game full of seamless RPG fun.

I played this game when I was younger On the original PlayStation and only decided to buy it for PSP when my original disk got damaged. I've seen a lot of negative review about this port and I would like to clear things up.

First; load times: The reports about ridiculously long load times are greatly exaggerated. The load times might be SLIGHTLY higher than the original but mostly, it goes completely unnoticed. And mind you, I'm using an original PSP from the launch. Not a psp2000, 3000, 900,874 (lol), or a slim.

Second; regional release complaints: those complaining it wasn't released in North America. I wasn't sure if this would work on my PSP in the US because of regional restrictions. However, after googling it I took a chance. There are no restrictions, it works fine.

Third; stylistic complaints: this is a TRADITIONAL RPG game and is rated as such. The story is solid and the gameplay is well above par for the area. The game wasn't designed to have extraordinary graphics so don't expect it. It is however, very fun with a high replay value.

NOTE: When you turn on the game for the first time, you will get an insufficient memory error. Choose play anyway and ignore it. When you try to save the first time bit will let you save and you will never see it again.

PS... this company was great. I was supposed to receive this game around August 18-27 and I received it only days after ordering it on July 21st.

I hope this clears up a lot of questions and concerns.

The game is imported from the UK, however it runs just fine, it's not a knock off. It is the real thing guys, get it before it's gone forever.

Loading times seem faster to me, I have only praise for this game, a classic lost gem of gaming.

Even though it's a remake of the PS version, BOF III is still great fun for any RPG fan. Now it's on PSP meaning you can take it and play on the go without being stuck to your console at home. I strongly recommend this game for its strong replay value.

Just as described and plays fine. This is the European version, which some may not pick up on, but it is noted in one or two spots and in several reviews. That said, the PSP is not region-locked so it bears little importance beyond the rating system and packaging.

Long time fan of this game and series, it is nice to have a good working and current copy, since my ps1 copy may very well no longer be usable. Good price for a packaged and unopened game. Came with manual and case.

my husband loves this game glad you all had it in stock. He has played this game before when he was younger and wanted it back for our collection. I found the Playstation version for a ton of money but this was reasonably priced and shipped fast.

Old school RPG that you cannot go wrong with. Loaded the game up and brought back my memories of playing it on the PS1. The game looks and sounds beautiful. Don't miss out on a solid enjoyable game due to an issue with buying an essentials version of the game, you wont know what you are missing out on.

The game worked without any problems on my PSP2001.

The game arrived in mint condition earlier than expected.
