This stetho comes with small hard ear tips or soft large ones which most likely affects the quality of sound- but I wish I had just saved the ten bucks and paid more for a better stetho. I can't even hear well enough to take blood pressure with this model.

This light weight stethoscope is smaller enough to fit in your lab coat. It comes with hard and soft ear pieces for your comfort. It is easy to assemble and carry with you. Tubing comes in 21 different colors. Easy enough to be used by the nonprofessional for home use as well as medical staff. Works well if your trained to auscultate breath and heart sounds. I know that nursing homes carry and use this type of stethoscope on a regular basis. I received this product free for an honest review.

I bought this for my Halloween Costume and that's about it's actual quality. You can't hear a heartbeat worth squat on it so don't bother purchasing it unless you don't plan on using it for anything but show.

This is a 5 star for our needs. We bough this as a costume prop and it works great as a prop.

The white ear inserts are hard white plastic and the black ones are softer rubber.

The item does work OK as its intended to do. You can hear a heart beat OK with it. It is not super sensitive, but it was little over 5 bucks shipped,so it it was cheap. Plus all we wanted was a look, which with the uniform it is paired with looks amazing.

If you are a medical student you will most likely want something a little more comfortable. If you are like we were, looking for a prop or just a cheap way to check someones heart beat. This will get you there for a low price.

I have not actually purchased one of these myself but we recently got a few sets where I work. These stethoscopes are actually pretty good considering the cost. Don't get me wrong they do not hold a candle to my Littmann, however for what they are used for (BPs and auscultating an apical pulse) they do a fair job. I would recommend them to CNAs, PSS's, and anyone else in the healthcare field that uses stethoscopes for fundamental purposes like BPs and pulses and would like a personal one without spending too much money. As a note one thing we have found that helps to amplify the sound is to cut the tubing by a few inches, less distance for the sound to travel ;).
