Brackets fit great. didn't realize when I bought shifter that it would come with a variety of brackets for alot of different transmissions. I thought this was a mounting kit? I already had these same brackets with the shifter kit, so I didn't use them.

Only two stars because this item is posted as "people who bought this item also bought this" so I bought the shifter and this bracket and lever kit so I would have all the parts I needed on hand to install my shifter in my '81 Chevy C10 truck. By the time I got my shifter installed it was too late to return this product and it wasn't needed for the install of my B&M shifter. So this might be a great product but it's not needed in all applications. So if Amazon states that people bought this item too please make sure you need it for your install. Could have saved myself $30.

to fit inside of hole on the shifter bracket. Its not even close, I work in a machine shop so I'll be modifying mine to save the hassle of returning it. Amazon, please check with manufacture and let them know of this reject part.
