This did not fit the CJ7 well, once installed on passenger side there was no way to align it to see anything other than my wife's legs. Not that I didn't like that view, but when changing lanes it can be distracting.

Great direct fit replacement. I have read some of the reviews about this item not fitting and people needing to either refit or not use the mirror. Here's a tip for those people. Check out the original pic's for the CJ jeeps, you will see how to mount the mirror on the passenger side. It eworks just fine. Great product and nice fit and look.

Looks great against my '75 CJ5 which I bought used and had no mirrors whatsoever. Only complain is that my Jeep (and all Jeeps) vibrate. These mirrors do not isolate the vibration.

Consequently, you will be able to tell there's a car coming up behind you, but you won't be able to tell if it's a minivan full of soccer children or a late model Crown Victoria full of men who haven't met this month's quota yet.

But hey, for the price, you can go wrong. BTW - drive like it's a Crown Vic

The mirror arrived on time and the install was easy. The bracket holes lined up perfectly with the holes on the Jeep.
Once adjusted, there is a small nut on the back of the mirror that tightens down to keep the mirror from shaking or moving. Well worth the price paid!

I never write these type of comments, Im one of those you get what you pay for type of people. But this side mirror is just plan junk, you cant see anything with it unless you look thru the windshield. Its basically for looks because its not for viewing traffic behind you. be warned!

Style Name: Passenger Side (RH)
The passenger side mirror is designed to be viewed through the windshield just like the they were from the factory. If adjusted to be viewed through the passenger window or door opening you would not be able to open the door when they're on. Note the placement in the photo from the original manual. Ignore everyone who says they don't fit properly. They fit the way they're supposed to.

Dont listen to all the people saying it won't fit. the CJs were designed where you look through the door for the driver side mirror and you look through the wind shield for the passenger side. if you try and adjust them keeping this in mind they work fine

Does not work. As manufactured and designed this does not line up with your sight line from the drivers seat. The bend on it and/or hole placement is defective. Waste of $$.
