Amazon says that this doesn't fit my 1990 Jeep Cherokee so I went to Energy Suspension's website and they state it fits 1984-2001 which is all XJ Cherokee years. The kit does not include the sway bar bushings as there are different sizes for different years and engine configurations, it also does not include engine mounts, trans mount or the coil isolators. I was aware of this before I bought the item as I researched it before making my purchase. Good solid looking product I will update this after I install the bushings.

This is a great kit. The price is very fair for everything you get. It's well made and everything fits perfectly. It's not the easiest install but it makes a tremendous difference and eliminates all death wobble problems from the chassis. Expect to spend 40-50 hours labor installing this kit. Probably 10 of those hours are going to be cutting bolts, torching bolts, and banging bolts with hammers to get the springs and arms loose. I can only recommend this kit for a DIY'er. It would cost WAY WAY WAY too much money to have installed at a shop.

Tools you should have:
Corded Drill
Keyhole Saws (1 1/4, 1/12, 2) (upper control arm bushings at axle - this is best method. It's messy though)
Hydraulic Press (or convenient access to one)
Wire Brush Kit - Get a couple
Ball Joint Press Kit
Extra money in budget for new bolts in case you cut yours (I had to cut 4 in the front and they aren't easy to find replacements..or cheap)

There's a good stabilizer bar kit I grabbed too by energy suspension. You should do it too along with bumpstops when you do this bushing install.

Quality product but instructions and labeling of parts suck. Although each set in individually bagged, it takes a little guess work to figure out what bag goes to what part. Installation is a PITA! You must use the old bushings metal sleeves for the control arms. Ended up having to burn the old bushings out with a propane torch. If I had it to do again I would probably just pay a little extra and buy the whole upper and lower control arms already assembled.

Such a simple item makes amazing difference in ride quality. Time consuming install though. You might also order some additional energy suspension grease the little tub that's included is just enough to cover the job and a little extra grease on poly bushings will help with the installation.

Items are as described. But the document which came along doesn’t provide much info. It’s just list of items in that package, doesn’t even said which item is actually which. So some guess work and a lot of comparison with your old bushing are needed. It should have some diagram!

Great kit. Take your time, make sure to lube well (buy extra) and clean area before install. Kit doesn't include sway bar and link bushings, those are a separate purchase. Also remember motor and transmission mounts; do it all and do it right.
