Good SOHO speaker phone, April 6, 2006
Looked long and hard for a good 2-line SOHO speakerphone after experiences with Polycom 2201 (feedback & caller id incompatibility) and AT&T 962 (display freeze during caller waiting id). The AASTRA 9120 fit the bill and does not disappoint. Pros - compact, tilting backlit display, intuitive keypad operation, good speakerphone, programmable call forwarding active indicator, not over complicated. Cons - Inability to determine how to store or redial caller id numbers with a 1 in front.

First rate entry-level phone, April 16, 2006
I was a little reluctant to order this given i'd never heard of Aastra, nor was i able to find any reviews online to guide me. but now that i have it, i'm very happy with the purchase. the phone works and sounds great and setup is a snap. the speakerphone quality in particular is always a concern of mine, but it works very well on this system. easy redial, line 1 and line2 buttons, multiple ring tones, conference call, caller id - it's all here.
i do have a couple of gripes with the phone. first, the buttons look and feel very plasticky LEGO-like cheap, almost popping out it seems everytime you press them. they do work perfect so far so this may not mean anything. also, for whatever reason my Plantronics headset has a little extra reverb now, which was non-existent in my old high-end Lucent phone. it's a tad bothersome since it's something i use daily. lastly, the navigation menu itself may be a tad confusing for some.
nonetheless, should be a comfortable choice for those seeking a reliable entry-level small business phone.

Awesome Affordable Telephone, February 17, 2009
If you are just starting a business this is an awesome starter phone. I was reluctant to order this given i'd never heard of Aastra but after seeing some of the good prices compared to other similar phones, I decided to go with this one. So far I am very happy with my decision. Mechanically the phone works perfectly and sounds awesome. Setup is so quick compared to other phones I have looked at. Out of the box- setup is literally 10 minutes and you're connected! Speaker phone is pretty good. If you are on the border on whether to get this setup, I personally recommend it.
Pros- Easy to use, simple/sleek design, easy to use options, multiple lines and ring tones, conference calls are easily made, caller id, compact
Cons- doesn't look the best but some may love the simplicity that this phone provides
In brief, this little phone will not disappoint, it's the whole package in a compact phone.
