I wanted one of these for a long time. I just didn't know it. I always loved the Hangup Boots, but never bought them because I didn't want the big inversion table. Then I woke up one morning with a drive to get the boots and just find something (a jungle gym perhaps) to hang from. And then I saw this rack that hangs in your door. It was perfect! It installed easily in my studio doorway. It can be used for pullups or just something to stretch out with everytime I walk in and out of the room. Our daughter is constantly climbing on it and inadvertantly getting great exersise. I did get the inversion boots as well and try to find ten minutes a day to hang upside down. It gets blood to the brain and takes pressure off the spine. You can get a totally different work out being inverted. I highly recommend this to everyone, but especially fellow yogis. Yoga is great for working out back problems and this rack (paired with the Hangup boots) really helps with strengthening and lengthening the back. Cobra pose without a floor!

I am glad I didn't hessitate in getting this. I use it everyday.

My son and I did the recommended installation test. The bar held our combined weight of 425+ lbs. IMHO: It is designed and manufactured by people who really know what they are doing!

You need to work up to being able to do at least one pull up before using this inversion device, otherwise I seriously doubt that you will be able to get the boots up over your head and hooked to the bar.

And yes, I did discuss using this equipment with my physician *before* I purchased it.

I have had cervical fusion on C6 & C7 and also have degenerative athritise on C2 & C3. This has been a god send. I have no room for a large inversion table. The Teeter Hang Ups with the gavity boots are just what the doctor ordered. If you're of little physical condition, you may have a problem getting on and off. If that's the case, go for the inversion table.

Installed the Inversion Rack in my living room doorway. Only door way suffice for adequate use! It's very sturdy and serves its' purpose beautifully... One thing I did though, I went to the Home Depot and bought 2.5 inch steele screws to mount it with, instead of the 2 inch screws that came with it. This rack along with my Teeter Gravity Boots, I'm in Bat Heaven... Purchase this about two and a half weeks ago and am already doing Bat sit-ups!!! It's a great stretch/workout tool...

Rock-On!

Bought this at an exercise store when we moved into our new house. I use it 3 times a week for pullups and it is perfect and solid. The additional height on the top bar makes it easy to do pullups without having to worry about touching the ground (at least for me since I am not very tall.) The bar seems strong and I can't see ever needing to replace it. I am just now getting the inversion boots to do inverted abs and lower back exercises, that should be cool.

I bought this rack with the Teeter gravity boots and they are both great and alot of fun to use. The boots are comfortable (keep your toes poiting towards the ceiling for more comfort).I've only had them 1 1/2 weeks so far but it makes my back feel so much better after inversion and inverted stretching and exercise. Also, having the bar fitted constantly encourages me to do pull-ups and other excercises spontaneously, without the hastle of going to the gym. I can see and feel the difference in my back pain as well as arm and stomach definition aleady. Highly recommended.

I spent about 2 weeks searching for the right item to hang both my yoga trapeze on and my 70lb punching bag. I chose this one and am glad I did. It easily has held 240+ person hanging from it, takes the kicks and punches of the bag like a champ, but was also easy for me to install by myself. Very sturdy frame, adjustable and comfortable. I feel secure and like its a solid piece. So far so good....

I've been using the EZ Up Inversion Rack for a few weeks, now. I love it!

I use it with the Hang Ups Gravity Boots every morning for about 5 minutes. Due to years of playing football, weight training, etc., my bottom vertebrae has broken away from the spine, providing occasional discomfort in my lower back. At times the pain has been pretty excruciating.

Although I have only been using the Inversion Rack for about a month, I can already feel a difference overall in the frequency of my back "awareness" and in my posture, as well.

When mounting, make sure you mount the rack perfectly evenly. I think mine might be off by a tiny amount, which doesn't seem to affect the way I hang, but I can visibly see the fact that I might be off by a centimeter, or two.

Overall, a great piece of equipment and much more space efficient than a table, in my opinion.
