Convenience and a good taste.

I ordered this product on the basis of past experience, but the 3-star and 1-star reviews did give me pause. This is not going to taste like a cooked pudding. I did not expect it to. It is great for providing a quick snack, including esing a low fat milk. I tried Almond Milk--DON'T. It did not set. I have not usually purchased Vanilla but did so for the price (along with a separate order for the chocolate). Very good over some drained sliced canned peaches; also, drizzled w/a bit of Hershey's chocolate syrup, including light, special dark, and caramel--it doesn't take much.

Oreo Treat

Jello Pumkin Spice Pudding is WOW!!!!

I found this Jello Pumpkin Spice pudding in clearance after Christmas at my local gorcery store. I didn't know Jello made pumpkin pudding, but I grabbed all of the pudding they had because it was 38 cents each and went home and tried it and fell madly in love. When I make pumpkin pie, I double the spices the recipe calls for and even add more cinamin because I love it. This pudding is exactly how I make pumpkin pie. I love tasting the spices in the pudding and Jello made a fantastic pudding, the problem is that the stores I have gone to have the same pudding all the time (chocolate, vanilla, pastachio and butterscotch) and they don't sell the other Jello puddings and now that Christmas is over there is no pumpkin pudding to be found. I want to buy this stuff in bulk because I love pumpkin and will eat it year round. Try this pumpkin pudding. You will love it.

seasonal and HARD to find.

loved that i could order this and have it sent to my doorstep instead of searching all the local stores (that i don't shop at on a regular basis) for which store has this stocked for the holiday season.

I use this mix in several recipes that are not even close to the same without it... but my favorite is actually just making it into a mousse... topping it with some whipped cream and sprinkled with some pumpkin pie spice... it was a big hit in my house. even the 1 yro (i know he probably shouldn't have had it - but he loved it!) wanted more.

A delicious addition to a specialty cake!

I have this awesome recipe for Pumpkin Pie Spice Cake that uses a package of this instant Pumpkin Spice pudding, and I didn't want to wait until Fall when this item is in the local markets, so thanks to Amazon, I ordered the 6 pack! I made the cake with cream cheese frosting and got RAVE reviews, with requests to make it again for the next pot luck, AND for the church bake sale!

I keep the boxes in the freezer to keep them super fresh. One of my friends told me I can also mix a package of this instant pudding with a bit less milk than is called for, and then fold that into 8 oz or so of non-dairy whipped topping and I'll have an awesome Pumpkin Mousse! If you love pumpkin, and the flavors of autumn, this product will not disappoint in any of it's various incarnation (cake, mousse, pudding). Yum!

Cinnamon heavy! Not a bad thing...

Tastes great!

This is great made into pudding or added to a fast, ready made pie crust. I love to make 'Dream Pie'.

2 env. Dream Whip
2 pkgs. Jello instant pudding (any flavor)
2 3/4 c. cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pie shell

Combine Dream Whip with 1 cup milk and vanilla. Beat on high about 6 minutes until thick and forming peaks. Add remaining milk and pie filling mix, blend on low, beat on high for 2 minutes. Spoon into crust and refrigerate at least 4 hours.

Tastes great! You can make a chocolate pie and add some chopped pecans on top with a few thin scribbles of caramel ice cream topping and chocolate syrup and you have chocolate turtle pie. The family will think it took you forever to make! :)

I also like to use the coconut cream flavor pudding to make coconut cream pie. I've even drizzled chocolate syrup on the inside of sundae glasses, then layered coconut cream pudding with a layer of crumbled brownies, then topped with whipped cream. I make an extra batch of brownies when I bake, then cut them up into small bite sized pieces and store them in a freezer bag so I can add them to my desserts if I want. Tastes great with the coconut cream flavor!

It's pudding with chocolate Oreo Cookies! Need I explain more. Pretty much the same as adding Oreo's to your vanilla pudding. Enhance with replacing some of the milk with heavy cream, we generally do 1/2 milk, 1/2 heavy cream (no not very diet conscious but you're eating pudding anyway, so ENJOY what is suppose to be ENJOYED!)
