I recently ordered & received this ring and in the catalog it is described as a "blue" sapphire, but upon receipt of it (looking at it outside and with a magnifying glass) this ring is "black". I called Palm Beach Jewelry and have returned the ring for a refund. Note: the new catalog that was enclosed in the package did not include this ring, but the descriptions of other sapphire items had been corrected to read "midnight blue sapphire" which appears black. I have several items from Palm Beach and the they are wonderful. I'm sure this was just a clerical error in the catalog that inadvertantly mis-represented the sapphire items. I will continue to order from Palm Beach.
