Those of you reading the lousy reviews should note that this product page is for MULTIPLE BLADES, and you have to select the right one. All these reviewers selected the wrong blade and pouted about it.

What you probably came here looking for is the 10178600 Eversharp 110/66 punch down blade, and Surprise, if you select it, that's what you'll get and not the blade everyone here is complaining about because they didn't select the right one from the drop down list next to the photo.

Also known as the 10056500 on other web sites.

Junk. Don't buy. Get the Klein. In the last 2 weeks, I have punched down three 100pair cables a day, every day. I was in dire need of a new blade. I made it about 50 pairs with this piece of junk and went back to the blade I had been using for months to finish the job. It's now down in the abyss of the bottom of my random bag for an emergency one day. I hope I never have to use it again.

Fluke products are always a good investment, superb quality that will last for years. purchased a no name BIX blade prior to this and was that a huge mistake, think I punched down maybe 25 wires before it started to lock up. one cannot go wrong with Fluke, even though it costs more it is well worth it. if working with Nortel BIX blocks, this would be a great blade to use.

This is not a punch down tool! It is a punch for a punch down tool for starting screws. It is also not an eversharp blade, it is just a standard blade. This is a bait and switch seller delivering much less than represented.

Size: 110 Blade Kit for D814 and D914 Verified Purchase
Prior to purchasing I checked against the Fluke catalog for p/n 10979004 which indicates a 110 blade kit consists of 2-110 blades, a 66 blade, screw starter, and case. At the price I purchased it at ($27.21) it was still a good buy. And buying Eversharp blades doesn't really make sense for me since I usually drop the tool blade side down onto concrete once every 3 years ..

I opened the blade in the morning and went to work. Ran 100 cross-connects within a couple of hours and the blade stopped cutting. I was not the steel blade pictured. It was a black light-weight piece of junk blade that went to crap after 100 punches.

This is the one blade every voice and data tech needs to have. A companion non cut 110/66 would make to perfect combo. I ordered this as a replacement for the blade I've used for the last 6 years. I'd still be using it but I dropped it on the 66 blade and chipped it.
