The convenience of replacing the entire strut assembly as one is a huge bonus, also it is more cost effective to purchase the entire assembly. I had no issues at all with this product. Fit like a glove, no alignment issues, no squeaks or pops, bolted right up just like it should, and dampened the impact from potholes and bumps. Also, the price was surprisingly low for the quality. Also, being a Michigan native, when I found out they are engineered right in Troy, Michigan, which is not far from my own place of establishment, made me very happy. With the terrible Michigan roads, when the time comes and they need replacing (you must accept the even the best suspension will wear out in time, especially in the state with the worst roads in the country) I will purchase more from Gabriel.

We purchased this strut and mounted it but when we went to get the car aligned, we found out the strut itself was defective. Since the labor is so much at the shop, we decided to take the old strut and use it with the new spring and mounts. Bottom line is we would have returned it if we had purchased it locally. This is one case where online was not an advantage.

This ready mount strut is AWESOME!!! Comes with everything you need from strut mount down. Took old one out and had new one in and tire back on in 20 min. Per side. Please be aware for those of you who are weekend warriors, changing struts will throw off your alignment, you MUST have your vehicle aligned after install.
