These folders are nice, but are somewhat lightweight. They were perfect for what I was using them for and I would definitely purchase them again, but if you need a folder that is of high weight/quality, then you will want to look at something else.

I recently wanted a switch from my old way of organizing papers and bills, so I decided to give pocket folders a chance. These seemed to be the best deal on Amazon.com and they were black. The folders are great, but better deals abound. It is currently the end of July and the day I received these in the mail I found very similar folders at a big box retailer for $0.15 a piece, versus the $0.42-ish I paid for them. The paper might be thicker in the Avery folders, but they are virtually the same. The folders are still great though.

I don't understand the positive reviews. All my folders have stray marks on them (particularly on the spine). White stress marks are very noticeable on black folders. It's not worth it to send $7 folders back, but, I'm certainly not going to be putting materials in them to hand out to other people (the original purpose).

Was very surprised when I received this product..... the corners are not put together on the ends.... It seems a manufacturing issue? It doesn't hurt their function but I bought them for client meetings... and will not be using them for that as they look cheap IE unprofessional.

These are well made high quality double pocket folders without the metal tab things in the middle - I had to search high and low to find ones without the middle tabs. It also has a scored place so you can place your business cards. We give them to clients for wills and trusts for new documents.

The folders are exactly as they're described. However, they are a bit cheap on the quality scale, and they do seem to have some creasing. Also, the picture is a bit misleading. I thought that the folders would be a smooth, solid black, but they're actually a textured dark grey. All-in-all, they aren't quite what I was expecting to get, but they still work just fine. ^_^

These are good basic folders, with an acceptable quality for my purpose (using with the kids at my church). They are nicely textured, making them ideal for attaching labels and stickers. The one downside for me was that the black seemed a bit faded, instead of a true deep black.

This item was shipped to me from Sam's Club so I was wondering what was delivered. For the most part these are exactly as you would expect a basic 2-pocket folder to be. The color is a true black (if that makes any sense). I gave this 4 stars as at least 5 out of the box of 25 had some sort of defect... a run in the color typically. Also, the ones I received did not have a place for a business card as pictured but this was not an issue for me.
