Product Description

Product Description

The Cedar Waxwing Plush Bird by Wild Republic is part of the Audubon Backyard Birds 6 Plush Collection. The Audubon Cedar Waxwing plush stands 5" tall and makes real bird call sounds. This birdcall was produced by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This great bird also comes with it's own information card with tons of facts about the Cedar Waxwing! These sleek birds inhabit southern Canada and the northern half of the United States in the summer. The species winters throughout the US and into Mexico. They are often seen in large flocks in farmlands, woodlands and suburban areas. They feed on a variety of fruit, insects, flowers and sap. They build their nests using sticks, moss and grass, preferring fruit trees and conifers. During certain times of year, males and females share food and pass flower petals back and forth.
