I also have the Danskin Waist Trimmer Belt. These two belts work! My side muffins are gone and my mid-section has decreased too! They both make you sweat in the areas they cover. Here are the differences between the two. The Bally Slimmer Belt is thinner and covers more area. The Danskin Waist Trimmer is more adjustable because it uses velcro. This Bally Slimmer Belt has zippers, and is not as adjustable.

IMPORTANT: The location of the zippers in this Bally Slimmer Belt is at 29", 33" and 36". My waist is 27" so I had to cut about 9" and resew it. Sewing this material was not easy -- mine is not lined up perfectly. Another reviewer though said she took it to her dry cleaner who had a seamstress.

I wear this belt all the time and it does without a doubt work, I even sleep in it. I have had it now about a month and I have lost 3 inches off my waist and I am almost rid of the ugly back fat. I have also have moved the zipper in so it works.

I thought that this is just another non working product, but I have to eat my words I have noticed a significant diffence in my abs. I'm by no means slim and in shape, however, I am noticing inches off my waist. It works I am going to order another one!!!

If you are a big girl as myself don't get it. It will not fit. I am a size 20 and it did not fit.

I work out and eat right. I'm thin. But no matter what I do, after 2 kids, my stomach is a wreck. Between split stomach muscles and a sensitive stomach (I bloat when the wind blows) I always seem to have a belly. But not anymore. I've been using this band for a few weeks, putting it on when I get ready in the morning and wearing it around the house when ever I can. It's really worked to keep my stomach flat. Since I was very impressed with it but was hoping to get even more results, I ordered another belt like this but with a velcro closer. This Bally one is big on me. The compression belt did NOT work like this one does. This one is a miracle to me and I'll never be without it!

Okay, Am a Male weight 240ibs/ and 6'1'' tall. I carry on some extra weight AKA (the muffin) So I saw this item with great reviews. I thought I'd try it. i had it on for longest period of time, I even wear it at work/going out/ and GYM!! the only time I have it off is 3-4hrs b4 i go to sleep and during my "sleep" another words I LOVE IT. This is not only for Females it works for both. i have had it for over a week now and its amazing. I am thinking about ordering few more for backup and to just have extra on me.

This belt works perfectly - makes you sweat a lot in the waist area - for those who have waist. What I mean is if you look at the picture the shape of the belt is such that it will help to melt excessive fat for "8"-shaped women, but it might not work for "O"-shaped.
As for support, it supports well as long as it's not to much to support (the material is rather thin).
Zippers worked well for me (I use the tightest one and my size is 4).
For proper use don't wear it on the bare skin, it's no good for both skin and the belt, it works perfectly fine above the tee (you can wear two tees, this "sandwich" will make you sweat even more).
And for god's sake - don't wash neoprene in washing machine, it won't survive it! Wipe it with wet cloth after exercise instead, and it will last.

it tore ripped and it would break me out. I cleaned often because your sweating sometimes it helped to put over shirt that's thin but it didn't feel as effective.
