Sent this as a Mother's Day gift. The lady who received it thought it was wonderful. The 3 decorative oval boxes can be reused. They contain a variety of sweets & goodies that taste good and last a while. Although I had it "gift wrapped" by Amazon, you don't need to do that because the original gift packaging is already decoratively designed without the need for additional wrapping. All in all, a nice gift for a lady with a sweet tooth.

A previous reviewer mentions a "watering can" which is NOT part of this gift; this food gift tower comes in 3 graduated size oval hatbox-style containers, not a watering can.

I received this lovely presentation which was full of stuff. However, the edible goodies were horrible and the other stuff was really below even average. The basket itself was nice. Not worth the money. Send your mom a gift card instead.

Sent this last Mother's Day, and my review could simply what my mother told me upon my calling her that day: "LOVE this!"

A little more: She enjoyed all the goodies inside, but especially liked the containers. She's kept those to house her head scarves, cotton balls, and for mere decoration. Good purchase!

I ordered this gift for my mother-in-law. The phone call I received from her touched my heart. She is a woman of impeccable taste and style. Being our family Grand Dam a compliment is definitely earned. The package was delivered on time and secured nicely. She commented on the beauty of the gift wrap. The three hat boxes were study, well made and of good quality. She said she felt like a kid at Christmas. Each hat box had a number of treats that thrilled her to no end. Each was a surprise. When all of the edibles were gone she felt that the hat boxes were beautiful enough to be placed in the family room. They are now being used as storage. She is still talking about it. Thank you Amazon and Art of Appreciation. There will be more purchases in the future.

I did not like this gift. I had purchased it for my Sister, who has everything and thought to myself, she will be able to put her feet up and have a nice quiet moment with this gift basket.

However, I erred and sent the package to my OWN mailing address. So when it arrived - on time (which is why I give them 2 stars), I was eager to see what my sister would have received.

Major disappointment!

A few sweets scattered on top of REAMS of shredded paper in the smallest box.

2 small packets of tea and some chocolate sandwich biscuits claiming the title "truffle". Another small packet of unappetizing looking stuff in the Middle Box.

4 very ugly looking packets of minature cookies, popcorn and (yoghurt covered?) pretzels in Largest box 3.

The most prolific item in the boxes was pink shredded paper. No sign of my message to my sister. A big pink bow topped some transparent crackly wrapping, and that was it.

I did not eat any of the items, so cannot speak to the deliciousness or not of the contents. But they were bone-ugly and have not inspired me to try them. As I am more of a gourmand than a gourmet, this reluctance to eat the stuff even though it is sitting there watching me is indicative of the level of my turn off.

The boxes are pretty, but way smaller than they seem to be online....am I being too greedy for $38? I don't think so. That gift was worth 12:20, tops, if those items were to be bought in a store. Isn't 25.50 too much of an operating margin? I could have filled a box 3 times as big from a department store. And I would have included JELLY BEANS!

Oh, I tried one of the sweets in box 1 just now - they are mints, just like ANY OTHER MINTS in the world, certainly NOT gourmet anything.

Of all things my mother just referenced this Christmas gift that she received from our family back in 2012. She told me that she finished the last tea packet (caffeinated!) earlier today and really enjoyed it. She wanted to know what it was so she could get some more. She also said that the Jelly Belly pastel mints were really good and that the decorative boxes were pretty and pleasing.

While I think that the price is too much for the overall product I can't argue with my mom who enjoyed it and remembered it (she's 85...) more than half-a-year later! 5 stars per my mom's enjoyment!
