16–ounce green "Strength" Tetsubin teapot is a graceful, elegant cast iron teapot crafted in the Japanese style. It is inspired by highly prized antique Japanese cst iron teapots still in use today. Each teapot has black enamel coated interiors that helps prevent rusting. Included is a stainless steel mesh brewing basket. Tetsubin teapots are for brewing tea and not intended for stovetop use. It is best to hand wash Tetsubin teapots.

True, you can't boil water in this, as it is a teapot. Teapots are used to brew tea. Tea kettles are used to boil water. There is a difference.

This teapot is pretty, but you can't boil water in it, seems useless. Also, the description neglected to state its size, it will only hold about 12 ounces of water. The picture is misleading. I will be returning it.
