I think this is a really excellent multi vitamin. Here's why I like it:

1. Highest quality ingredients. For example it contains the Adenosylcobalamin and Methylcobalamin forms of vitamin B12, rather than the cheaper and more common form Cyanocobalamin found in most supplements. Adenosylcobalamin and Methylcobalamin are more active forms of B12 and is more readily absorbed and utilized by the body (http://chriskresser.com/b12-deficiency-a-silent-epidemic-with-serious-consequences/). If you check out the ingredients listed on the Thorne website you will find that they used some of the most bioavailable forms of the nutrients included in this multivitamin. https://www.thorne.com/products/dp/basic-nutrients-iii-without-copper-and-iron . 2. No fillers or common allergens: "does not contain wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, soy, egg, dairy products, or artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors. This product also does not contain lactose, palmitic acid, or magnesium, calcium, or vegetable stearates." (thorne.com)

3. No copper and iron. Some people accumulate copper in their body and as a man I don't need extra iron from a supplement, so I'm happy to have a choice about these two ingredients. If you want copper an iron in your multi you could consider Thorne's Basic IV ...Read more ›

Prescribe by my integrative oncologist as a multivitamin for folks with prostate cancer - Copper and Iron are contraindicated, so this fills the bill. I check against some other formulations, and this one has Calcium Citrate, for example, rather than the cheaper and less digestible carbonate, an advance form of Folate, good but not overwhelming B-complex vitamins, etc. Nice caps, tpp, which is good, because the dose is 6/day.

These are the best vitamins I've found. Too many other "one a day" types are hard pellets, wax-coated, that seem to pass right through me without really providing the benefits of the vitamins. These capsules are easy to take, easy to digest, and they've got the right stuff inside! What could be better?

These vitamins enhance my general health, sense of well-being and ability to sleep. At times that I have been without for more than a few days, I notice a drop in the quality for the categories listed above. I have been taking them for about 3 years.

As for shipment, the package arrived just before the due date in the order. It was in sound condition.

My doctor tests supplements to make sure they're not contaminated in processing and are good quality. This product tests good and I've never had a problem with it. It's a great multivitamin. My doctor recommends taking only half the daily dose, because there's plenty of vitamins and nutrients in that amount. Each bottle lasts me quite a while. Great product. I've always been pleased with Thorne's supplements.

This is a great product from a good company. It contains the right kinds of folate for people with MTHFR problems. It contains many active forms of vitamins. It is good that it is copper- and iron-free. A top-notch multivitamin from a respectable company.

I sometimes empty it into skin cream and put it on my body that way, as Dr. Sara Myhill suggests for people with chronic fatigue syndrome who have poor gut absorption of nutrients.
