DESCRIPTION
1 7/8" wide. Relatively thin, smooth (not patterned or lumpy like double-sided duct tape) translucent white tape coated on both sides with a strong waterproof adhesive, protected by a peel-off backing. It is not "stretchy", but has some "give".

These are good features for many purposes
> Since the tape is thin and smooth, it does not easily show "panty lines", e.g., though a poster
> Since the tape is white-ish, you can see where you put it.

HINTS ON USE
Like all tapes with backings, it can be difficult to peel the backing off a loose length of tape---and it is best not to try to. If you can stick the sticky-side down first, then do so, then peel off the backing.

The easiest way to use the tape is to:
> Pull off as much tape as needed and cut to length (without removing the backing)
> Apply to the most rigid surface you want to tape together
> Press and rub** the tape firmly
> Peel off the backing of the other side
> Apply the second surface, and then rub**
Note that the rubbing is important if you want the strongest bond. You can use a hotel key-card or a spoon as a burnisher for this purpose--if so, always protect the tape or surface with a sheet of paper while you rub.

MY REASON FOR PURCHASE
I purchased the tape for making mini-sanding blocks using old hotel key-cards and sheets of sandpaper (cut to size). The tape worked very well for this purpose. I was concerned that it might be thick or lumpy (like double-sized duct tape), but it isn't.

I have been looking for rug grippers and already wasted money on more expensive items that didn't work at all. This is simply a strong double sided tape and it works pretty darn well in keeping my large cotton rug secured to a wood floor.

It took just a tiny bit of effort to get the paper off the double sided tape. I made the mistake at first of using the tape in just the corners of the rug - I needed to apply it all around the outer edges. Once I did that it stuck well. When I vacuumed too strongly it did come up a slight bit where I had missed a spot with the tape. Put more tape there and now the rug holds well.

Sometimes the simplest, cheapest item works the best! This cost just $6.40. Worth every penny and took no time at all to apply.

Absolute garbage. Might work if you put it on a decorative carpet in a room that you never use or enter. As far as real world/real house use, it lasted a few hours and I found myself going to Home Depot to get a REAL PRODUCT. Don't waste your money or time with this. Find something that actually works.-0

The product works as described. I use it to hold down carpet stair treads. I had purchased a different brand before and was unable to find it so I ordered this brand. It does not hold as well as I would like it to, I had to redo a couple of my treads because the tape would not hold, also I found it very hard to remove the protective backing. I wish I could have given it more stars, but I have had some issues with this brand.

Overall, it does what it says it does what it is suppose to do.

I used (or tried to) this tape to tape a rug down to carpet so my toddler would stop tripping over it. It just doesn't stick. It sticks to the carpet, but not to the back of the rug. I think it held for maybe a week. Bummer! I was hoping to help the kid out a little bit, but...mommy fail.

I really wasn't able to use this. I cleaned off my step and just could not get the tape to stay down and/or hold the carpet. It could be user error but I am not sure. The tape itself was plenty sticky and durable but I couldn't get it to work. Had to resort to staples.

I bought this for one medium rug, used the entire roll, and the rug still bunched up. I returned it after that. This roll should be enough to secure a couple rugs, but the quality couldn't even accomplish one.
