I installed both this and its cousin the FIAMM 72112 Freeway Blaster Horn in my 2010 Toyota 4Runner and all is well... just plug and play with the existing 10 amp circuit.

Sounds PERFECT! I've uploaded a couple videos so you can hear how they sound.

These things are awesome. I bought two along with some relays and relay sockets so I could get them enough power directly from the battery to do serious audible damage. Make sure to buy this one with its mate, the 72112 low tone. After wiring in the relays, these went in my 2000 Civic perfectly. They replaced the crappy horn in there, and I used the wiring to tie into the relay signal hot wire. Then, I grounded the relay to the body by tying it into the ground wire from one of the horns. The horns come with these little wire slide connectors that you can clamp onto your wires. I used wire nuts to tie all the wires together - I suggest you do the same. I was able to mount them facing away from eachother with grounding connectors in between the mounts using a single bolt that held the old Honda horn. This was ideal, and very clean - no drilling required!

I suggest finding yourself a 12V DC 4-pin or 5-pin 40 Amp SPST ISO Micro Relay for this project. Also, it really helps to have a 5-Pin Wire Harness Relay Socket. This will give you all the wires you need directly from the relay. These are really cheap items, and you shouldn't have trouble finding them. The 4-pin relays work fine with the 5-pin sockets. Then, educate yourself on how relays work, and wire that bad boy up! I got my relay and relay socket on ebay.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. Buy it now if you want to be heard on the highway.

I had enough of listening to the wimpy horn on my 07 Corolla, so I got this 72102 High Tone along with the 72112 Low Tone. At first I installed only the low tone and wasn't really impressed with it, but then I installed the high tone to go with it, and both together made a big difference. Now I have the sound of a full size car and I'm not embarrassed to use it, which around my area you need it frequently. Installation was easy for this car and you don't need to splice into the OEM wire or cut off the connector, you can leave it intact. Simply buy a $2 pack of male spade connectors (you'll only use one, but you'll have extras in case), take two 3-inch lengths of wire, join one end of each wire and crimp into the spade, so you've split one connection into two, then insert the spade into the OEM connector (which is really a female spade with a plastic housing). Then take two included female spades, crimp one on each wire and hook up to the remaining horn connectors. The ground is provided by the bracket connection to the car and the horn uses the included "jumper wire". Oh, and I used the OEM bracket, then bolted on the two included brackets to form an upside down "T". Nice install and great sounding horns.
UPDATE 9/30: These two horns together WORK. After having them on a while and used them, man, do they get driver's attention. I almost had two cars sideswipe me on different occasions (people not checking blind spots), I blew my horn, and their reaction was QUICK. I doubt they would have reacted like that with the very wimpy OEM horn. These horns are GREAT TOGETHER !!!

I bought these from a recommendation off of Prius Chat. These were a direct replacement for the stock horns when used in combination with FIAMM 72112, Low Tone Horn. The fit was a direct replacement, no splicing of wires needed. I used the existing Toyota plug for the (+) and grounded the horn to itself.

These horns sound excellent when used in combination with each other. The sound is very close to a premium horn on most mid-size cars, loud and blaring to get people's attention.

Recommendation: YES
Ease of Install: So easy a caveman could do it

Well, like most Toyota car owners nothing is less discouraging than the horn. It is like pulling a billy goats tall and hear him cry. I didn't realize that my 97 4-Runner had two horns, so I just bought one Fiamm 72102. I liked it so much that I got the Fiamm 72112 to replace the other horn. Easy to install. Just remove the other horns and plug in their wire. Now I get respect on the road when I honk, JC

I mounted these on my Honda Goldwing, to replace the somewhat anemic stock Honda horns. I had too many instances where I used my horn, and the cellphone-using car driver who was cutting me off or whatever never heard me.

Not anymore! These things are LOUD. I've used them a few times now since I installed them, and people look around wondering where the semi is!

Mounting was easy, and only took a few minutes. However, they do take a lot of current, and the factory wiring on my motorcycle was not up to the task. I had to install a new wire from the battery, and use a relay to switch them - not a big deal. Once I did this, they worked perfectly! Highly recommended.

The FIAMM 72012 (high tone) and the FIAMM 72112 (low tone) are excellent horns for highway and city driving. In fact they are attention getters just anywhere. The tonal blend is LOUD and CLEAR and one can actually drive with a greater feeling of security. Since installing them they have been instrumental in preventing careless drivers from breaking the major road to greet me on the main carriageway. A word of caution, though, if you drive with your windows up, as I do, every now and again drop them, them blow the horns so that you would have some idea as to how they really sound. My only concern is whether they can stand up to road water and under washing. Recently, I drove through the rain (not a very heavy shower) but they were unaffected. The horns are mounted at the bottom front and center of the truck. One blows to the right and the other to the left. I am in the process of designing a protective addition that would prohibit the entry of water during under washing. These horns are good performers that would enhance your driving experience by adequately alerting other road users to your presence on the roadway. I highly recommend them. Best wishes, Henry.
