These used to be called Breath Assure. Now, they're covered w/ sugar and a hint of mint, and they're Mint Assure. They work EXTREMELY WELL to get rid of halitosis from the inside out. They have that stupid coating, but don't even freshen your breath superficially. Instead, you swallow them, the gelatin coating dissolves, and the Parsley Seed Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil inside cleans the bad-smelling items from your ?blood or ?lungs so that the air coming up from your lungs and your stomach no longer has garlic or onions or whatever.

In the old days, before the mint/sugar coating, they came in a box of 160 or 75. Now, with the coating, they stick together if they're packed together. So the company wraps each capsule separately in a plastic and foil wrapper.

Take them about 30 minutes before you need them. They are terrific and last for about 4 or 5 hours.

I give it 4 stars, but would give it 5 stars if they removed the worthless sugary coating. It makes them more difficult to swallow (you have to suck the sugar off first) and adds worthless calories.

The title of my review says it all. Pasta with fresh garlic and oil? Anchovies and capers? Chili dogs with onions?

Mint Assure and Breath Assure are the only products (and I've tried them all) that truly eliminate bad breath

I love taking fish oil, but I positively detest the fish oil burps. No matter what I do, or how big the meal is, I always get them. But not anymore!! I take 2-3 of the mint assure after taking the fish oil and I have no problem. Won't take fish oil without them!

This product is fabulous. After eating spicy food or food rich in garlic this is the only product I have found that actually rids you of bad breath. Other products only work on your mouth. This product works on your mouth and your stomach, where the bad breath is actually coming from.

When these pills first came out over a decade ago, I was a skeptic. I was also suffering from living with a man who exuded the smell of garlic and onions from his pores for 24-48 hours after eating them. I was tired of gagging around him, and of knowing he had consumed onions or garlic while at work. I saw this product and purchased it.

What happened next was like a miracle. He would swallow these pills as soon after eating as possible, then again before bed time and at least once more the next day. The smell coming from his pores and his breath was gone. I was able to be in the room with him where before I was gagging every time I got within a few feet of him. (Trust me when I say not being able to be close to your fella ruins the relationship a bit!)

These pills work, I use them, I suggest them to my friends as well. These are the pills that really work to eliminate the smells. It works on onions, garlic and also with alcohol. Since finding these pills, I now always keep a supply of them back stocked at home. They work, they work fast and they are something I hope is on the market for the rest of my life.

If anyone ever said, "You smell like beer," the day after you had several beers the night before (or Scotch, Gin, Whiskey or any alcohol), you need Mint Assure; or morning breath or garlic breath, etc. Don't be foolish and try to get a way with it. You're dead wrong. Some people don't have that smell that lingers, but if you do, social responsibility demands you take two gel caps of your much needed Mint Assure. You have been warned. It could save your job!

Recognize that you are paying for convenient packaging here. A couple of sprigs of parsley do exactly the same thing for a few pennies. This product has had a rocky history and buyers should read the link below before purchasing. Some people think the legal action taken against Breath Asure (the predecessor of this product) was totally unfair, but you should read the proceedings regardless. I used Breath Asure for years and it did what it was supposed to do: cure food-odor related bad breath. It is NOT a substitute for brushing your teeth and using mouthwash.
